November 2007

Only 2 months left in 2007!

You can do a lot in 2 months health wise, but the holiday season is notorious for trips out of town, big dinners and snacks galore.

What are your plans to keep sane during the holidays?

May be boring, but I'm going to keep it as usual. Workout, eat properly, and get enough sleep to keep the stress at bay.

I also try to keep the trips to the shopping malls to a minimum to keep my sanity. I like to get shopping done when it isn't as busy, so that means I need to hurry up! :)

Who are you, Mel's Stalker?

Wow...
It was just a question since she used to be such a big part of this blog.
Maybe you should change the name of this site to Hot Healthy and Hostile Geek Brides!

I'm not sure who all you anonymous people are ... but Mel and I started this blog together.

Sometimes I post more, sometiems she posts more and lately we have a new group of contributors and have started doing a recipie club out here too (welcome others!).

If you are interested in participating please do. But please no harassment of Mel or anyone else on here.

I have probably posted "where are you at Mel" myself before, but never anonymously. It sounds really sinister when people say these things wihtout putting their names to it.

On to the business of this blog!

I am going to formulate a Holiday survival health plan just now as I type.

1) Minimize the number of times I leave town (currently between now and Jan 1 we plan to leave town only one time.

2) Keep up the 3x a week workouts in my basement. This will be easier if I get into a regular bedtime and dont leave town a lot.

3) Focus on traditions that don't involve a lot of sweets (Watching the Sound of Music anyone?).

Sheesh. All anon did was ask where Mel was. If they knew her name was Mel it must be someone who cares about her.

She just seems to be the one who was the most hard-core into diet and working out and everything and now she's gone.
